And JBB is right, too, we are rather manic-depressive. Someone on BV had a good post on that recently: we expect to win every game, regardless of any evidence to the contrary, and are pissed if we don't. Home opener this weekend...lets go get it.

Re: NDSU BISON* @ UNI
Sounds like there are tons of questions left for NDSU and an offense that seriously needs to find a way to move, but mg is right...we lost to a top 15 team by only 7 points. You can say we shouldn't be impressed with a defense that gives up 400+ yards (and that is a lot), but at the same time, how impressed should you be with an offense that can only translate 400+ yards into 16 points?

If the Bison go 7-4 or 8-3, and do not get into the playoffs, is Bohl back next year?

I would say yes. If I were to guess (and I have no real idea, so a guess is all that is), I would say that flirting with a .500 record would be when the seat starts to get real hot.Trapped in CA wrote:If the Bison go 7-4 or 8-3, and do not get into the playoffs, is Bohl back next year?
Of course, in your question, it would depend where the rest of those 3 or 4 losses come. If we start dropping games like Morgan State, then it might not matter where else we win.

an 8-3 MVFC team (with no D2 games) would be a lock for the playoffs.Trapped in CA wrote:If the Bison go 7-4 or 8-3, and do not get into the playoffs, is Bohl back next year?
7-4 (with a "BCS" win) stands a good chance of getting in, too. But of course, it depends how the resumes of the rest of the at-large candidates look.
