N.Kentucky looking to move to D-I in 2011?

If Jacksonville St. leaves the OVC for FBS than I can see N.Alabama & N.Kentucky getting in the OVC. If JSU stays then OVC would only take 1 to get to 12. UNA could join the Big South. A-Sun could be an option for either although NKU is a little far north. Both schools are west of Europe so the GWC is also an option.

Now that OVC has relaxed the no-football ban and added SIU-E, NKU would be a good fit.

N. Kentucky has been very successfull in DII and it seems like they would fit right into the OVC. Although if the OVC is picking between UNA and NKU I do not think they would pass up on UNA.

yup so where would that leave NKU? If you look at the map it's pretty far northwest to be a A-Sun member. Summit would work but they'd take UND & USD first. Would they add a 13th and/or 14th member? GWC would be the fall back.
