Bison offense scored 21 today, defense gave up zero.

I think it was SoCon fans saying how Wofford is slower than GSU.

I think everyone will agree with me when I say that the thing that gave NDSU's defense the biggest problem today wasn't the opponent's speed. It was the opponent's fullback. That guy was hard to tackle. He was hit at or near the line of scrimmage many, many times and made decent yardage after contact. That guy was tough.

Great job overall by NDSU's defense though. As usual. I wasn't keeping track but the guys calling the game said it's now been 14 quarters going back to the 2011 semifinal since NDSU's defense gave up a touchdown in playoff action. And if you look at the four playoff games last year plus the two this year the Bison have given up an average of 6.2 points per game over six playoff games. And only one of the six teams scored more than 7. And THAT was only 14 by James Madison in a 26-14 NDSU win.

No way around it. They've played great defensive football over the past two seasons. Best defensive football in FCS without a doubt.
