When the Democrats do eventually win the White House back & if they ever get control of both houses of Congress at the same time like the Republicans have now - what if they went with a "pack the court" strategy & increased the number of justices above 9 to re-tilt the court more to their favor?

My wife actually asked me if it's possible that he didn't KNOW it was illegal for him to drink in high school. She explained that she never did it so she didn't know. I told her I DID drink illegally in high school and there is no way you would be doing it without knowing about it because the fact that it is illegal means you have to come up with strategies for getting alcoholic beverages when it's not legal for you to buy them. Fake IDs. Getting someone older to buy it for you. That sort of thing.

The guy clearly and unequivocally showed that he was willing to lie in order to get confirmed when he came up with that "it was legal at the time" nonsense. This is not the sort of thing that is reasonably debatable.

Quit whining, John. You ended up getting a Justice who is far closer to your (claimed) originalist philosophy than anyone Hildabeast would have picked. Merrick Garland ‘s opinions show that he was in the philosophical pocket of organized labor and the administrative state. So count your blessings.
