Testimony supposedly delayed because of fear of flying, but has apparently taken many plane trips in the psat.
Ford said she didn't want to talk to press but later said she contacted WaPo 4 times.
Ford said she didn't discuss incident with anyone but therapist and husband but later said she talked to her "beach friends".
That supposedly credible polyraph we heard about was apparently withheld by Ford's attorney.
All the other people at the gathering she was at still say they don't remember Kavanaugh there.
Yep. We've clearly established that she lies. A lot.

The Mark Judge thing is HUGE. If only the GOP had agreed to let him testify it could have absolved Kavanaugh.

Or, Judge gets blamed for everything and Kavanaugh was never there and is simply a figment of the imagination of a drunk teen, embellished over the course of 35 years of whatever bitterness resides in her.

For those of you loving Grassley today you can thank dumbass Bruce Braley for this comment which sealed his loss and made Chuck the chairman.

Yup. Just saw an interview with Blumenthal and he confirmed that he's made up his mind already. Shocking.

I do have to agree with Maine Jeff on be thing. Term limits, a total of 12 years Senate and House combined.

I could live with the Senate being longer - already have 6 year terms, maybe set them at 24 years (6 terms). Anything past 24 years in the same exact job like a Senator is crazy. Like I said, Leahy's been there since the '74 election. That's two more Presidents longer than Grassley's been there (Grassley elected in '80) and even that one is too long. And I would start restricting committee chairpeople to be under a certain age (which would never go through) - once you're over 80, you can still serve, but you start stepping away from leadership posts, so no committee heads.

They have the sworn testimony (under oath) of the other players so we already know what everyone would say. In a he said/she said from 30+ years ago like this with no other evidence, you really just need to hear from Kavanaugh and Ford - no one else has any evidence that corroborates or exonerates the story or the accused.

Is Harris really going after Republicans on lack of investigation when Feinstein sat on this for two months?

Again, you hear what you want to hear.

The point was, if Feinstein wanted an investigation, she'd (or the attorneys she coached Ford to go to) have sent Ford to get a cognitive interview. She's saying that the Democrats don't care about truth; only political points.

I found that exchange to be very valuable.

So here's an observation that has nothing to do with politics:

I got up at 4am this morning so I could be in DC just after 7 (ran a tad late) and be at my desk until 3:45 and then do the 2.5hr commute back home.

Was this lady really that exhausted by being seated at 10 am and being done shortly after 2pm with a half hour break for lunch and several 15 minute breaks?

I am maybe a little beat after my 14+ hours on the road each day, but those 4 hours really seemed to work on her.

She's still worn out from braving the flight.

In all fairness, I can't imagine the stress she's under. That will take it out of you.

BTW, just spotted my one friend who has spoken up on her behalf on TV. He apparently was sitting close to her.

What's the over/under on Dem senators bringing up Roe v Wade, investigating a sitting president, corporations... when questioning Kavanaugh on Ford's allegation?
