I figured this Moss thing would go very well....or very bad.

I hoped well, assumed it would go bad.

Time to move on I guess. Get someone for him, and move on.

Well, we know he won't be passing to him in the last two minutes of the half.

I don't see how that's any weaker than you trying to guestimate how much better McNabb, who just got benched for not being able to master the two minute drill after more than a decade in the league, will be with a malcontent WR already on his 3rd team in the span of a month. At least my response was funny. Actually, on second thought, your's was kinda funny too. :thumb:

Good lord Travis, lighten up. I was giving you an opportunity to bust out your funny side. Fail.

I'm funny all the time - I mean, I keep picking JMU to win football games - that has to generate laughs for someone, no?

Guess they're pretty sure $3.4 million is more than anything they'd get in a trade. Wow.

Moss has turned into a player I dislike very quickly.

With the bulls eye on the ground two feet in front of him, about the same I'd say.

One of the reason's Moss got let go was his rant during a catered event. Tinucci's has some of the best quality food and Gus and his brothers are big Vikings fans, and some of the nicest people you would ever know. Moss don't know jack about good food and good people.

Strib Link
In the aftermath of Randy Moss' sudden exit from Minnesota, his tirade at a caterer during a team lunch last week has gained national attention.

Moss screamed at the co-owner of Tinucci's Restaurant and Catering in Woodbury and Newport in the locker room after practice because he apparently didn't like the way the buffet looked.

"[Moss] came walking up," Gus Tinucci said. "There were a couple of guys that were in line. I was carving some meat for a guy and all of a sudden I heard all this screaming and I was like, 'Are you kidding me?' I knew who it was immediately. I looked up and there he was."

Tinucci said Moss used two profane words in a sentence where the ex-Vikings receiver said he wouldn't feed the food to his dog.

"I was in shock," Tinucci said. "I couldn't believe it. It was quiet in there."

The Vikings cater lunch for their players in the locker room every Friday after practice. Tinucci said his family's restaurant has catered for the Vikings a handful of times in recent years in part because they became friends with former center Matt Birk.

Tinucci said his buffet included ribs, chicken, a round of beef carving station, pasta, vegetables and dessert.

"It looked good, like we always do," he said. "I don't know if he was starving for attention or what. But nobody laughed, I can guarantee you that."

Tinucci said he heard one player tell Moss to shut up. He wasn't sure which player. A veteran player sent the Star Tribune a text message Tuesday that described Moss' outburst as "bad." Tinucci said two Vikings employees approached him afterward and apologized.

Tinucci seemed a little surprised by the national attention that Moss' latest meltdown garnered. "He just slammed us," Tinucci said. "It wasn't us personally because he doesn't know us from Adam."

It's obvious you, like Randy, have never dined at Tinucci's. :kisswink:

The Griz must really be loving the idea that Mariani might have to cede way on offense to Moss.

The Oilers really screwed the pooch on this one, IMO.

The Twin Cities ESPN station is going to be live at Tinnucis on..some day? But when they're there, if you bring in a Moss jersey you get dinner free.

Edit: Aha...
Thanks to Randy Moss's locker room outburst, Tinucci's is now getting some national attention. For this, Gus & John Tinucci would like to show their appreciation by offering a FREE LUNCH in honor of Randy Moss at Tinucci's in Newport, MN. The first 50 people to bring in and donate their Randy Moss gear on Friday, Nov 5th from Noon-2pm will receive a free lunch buffet with ribs, chicken, beef and much more...the same spread that was served to the Vikings players the day Moss disturbed the lunch Tinucci's catered for the team. No Randy jersey to bring in? No worries! Everyone is welcome to come to Tinucci's on Friday and will enjoy "the food all the fuss was about" for a special price of $8.40. Now that's a deal! All donated Randy Moss jerseys will be sent to the Boys & Girls Club in the town of the team where Moss lands next. If he holds out for the rest of the season, they will be sent back to New England. 1500 ESPN's "Reusse & Mackey" show will be broadcasting live from the Newport, MN location from Noon-2pm during the lunch special.

Good for them. :thumb:

Why? They've done better under Childress than they've done at any time since Bud.

They have some of the best talent in the NFL, many think a good coach would have gone to and/or won the Super Bowl with that talent. About 95% of the fans up hear want his head over the Moss deal.
