They'll see Oswalt, Worley and Hamels.
Who's Worley? :?

The kid who yo-yos up and down from AAA for the fifth starter job. Maybe Kendrick will go instead, because he did well last time.

He'll probably be on the playoff roster if I had to guess. Who is he replacing in the rotation?

Worley is a flip-a-coin pitcher at this youthful point in his career. He's had some really good starts and also gotten shelled in a few. I like his quirkiness. He's a piece of work for sure:

Right now, Mariners starting pitcher Michael Pineda is no-hitting the Phillies 2-0 in the 5th. :D

Phils aren't used to playing to half-empty stadiums in remote parts of the country. Perhaps they'll be more fired up tonight.

Really, I thought they'd be used to it considering they have to play the Marlins in their own division.

They also have a retractable roof so regardless weather is never a factor.

Why the hell is the game tonight not starting until 10 pm? I can see that on Friday, because you can't have the potheads in Seattle trying to make a 4pm local start, but for a Saturday game against an east coast team (and let's face it, five times as many Phillies fans as Mariners fans will be watching), move that puppy to a 1pm or 4pm local start so the real fans on the east coast can watch this at a livable hour. I mean, we're talking the best team in baseball. We, as Phils fans, deserve it. Way to go Seattle. :ohno:

I think its MLB to blame, we're not seeing as many afternoon games compared to past years. Heck, usually FOX ALWAYS had 1:00 starts but now we're seeing them do games at 4 and now even 7 pm.

He'd be the fourth starter if he was a Phillie. :coffee:

Mariners are very fortunate to be facing our four and fill-in five in this series. Halladay-Hamels-Lee would have been broom-time.

Probably 15,000 were Phillies fans and 10,000 more were Japanese tourists there to see Suzuki. :coffee:

I would put Felix ahead of Hamels...Halladay, Lee, Felix, Hamels

I'd like to see Hamels came over to the AL and see how he'd do against AL lineups. On the other hand look how many pitchers moved from the AL to the NL and dominate. And maybe my judgement is clouded because Felix owns the Yankees and the only time I REALLY watched Hamels was in the '09 World Series when the Phillies lost to the Yankees. I know he struggled that year and is doing better this year.

Regardless they are both great pitchers.

I'd say Cole Hamels' World Series ring and World Series MVP trophy are sufficient to prove his ability vs the AL. :twocents:

If I had to put those four in my lineup right now I go Hamels or Halladay (flip a coin) as 1/2, then Lee, then Hernandez. Lee and Hernandez are very similar statistically so far this year (Lee more dominating in Ks) and we know Lee has incredible playoff numbers, so Lee gets the nod.
