Arizona doesn't get a Blanton break - it's Lee, Oswalt, Hamels the next three...

It's really sort of silly that they let these insignificant west coast teams start at 7ish local time, forcing those of us in the only time zone that matters to stay up past our bedtime to watch these games. Really, the only teams out west that deserve prime time games are the Giants and Angels. The rest should have 4:30 pm local starts. Why penalize the real fans?

Looks to me like the east coast teams are the ones that are irrelevant.

Lucky? Not luck, it was the plan - it's a pitching league again, and the teams with the best pitchers win. The Phillies are just ahead of the curve (hah, how about that pun!).

Hey, wasn't Arizona the place where they pelted the field with trash following a close call in a playoff game with the Rockies, resulting in players having to run off the field to avoid injury? And yet, in true Cleveland fashion, the president of the Diamonbacks was quoted as saying "Our fans were showing a great deal of passion and emotion..." ? You can't win the World Series on pitching alone, but it helps. I think they'll have to see how/when Utley comes back & what production they're getting from both LF & RF before the trading deadline to see if they need another bat for the postseason.
