Villanova was overrated.
There really isn't any doubt.

Many thought MSU would win the chipper. That wasn't going to happen...MSU guards weren't good enough.vutomcat wrote:Funny man. Uconn has looked pretty good to me. Guess we should start a thread Mich State was overrated too,Cluck U wrote:Thread titles are important...they should be accurate.![]()

Please enlighten us. Who did you have coming out of the East region? Iowa State? UVA?Cluck U wrote:Many thought MSU would win the chipper. That wasn't going to happen...MSU guards weren't good enough.vutomcat wrote:

Hey, you're supposed to get up to around 30 today, mid-30s this week, and possibly hit 40 on Monday. Be glad you are into spring.DSUrocks07 wrote:Every team that doesnt win the national championship is overrated.
Dammit, should have started a separate thread about that fact. I'm losing my edge...must be the cold weather.

MSU's guards weren't good enough to control a game. You can get away with that for a game or two, but not for a whole tournament.Seahawks08 wrote:Please enlighten us. Who did you have coming out of the East region? Iowa State? UVA?Cluck U wrote:

The east region was a fairly weak region.Cluck U wrote:MSU's guards weren't good enough to control a game. You can get away with that for a game or two, but not for a whole tournament.Seahawks08 wrote:

In any case, you've repeatedly proven that you don't want to be enlightened, so why do you ask for enlightenment?![]()
Back to the thread topic: Villanova was overrated...they simply weren't a threat to win it all, as a 2nd seed should be. No good team was going to lose sleep facing the Wildkitties.

Nova fans are comforted that it is you two taking up the other side of the argument. If any sane poster was doing so it might make us think this thread has merit.clenz wrote:The east region was a fairly weak region.Cluck U wrote:

I did a couple brackets and split the team coming out it between UCONN, MSU, and ISU....who likely would have come from that side had Georges Niang not broken his foot

Nova's overall resume was worthy of a 2 or 3 seed (no way they were next up for a 1 seed). But the more you factor in when their best wins came and how they were playing at the end of the year their resume loses some luster and you can make an argument that they were overrated.vutomcat wrote:Nova fans are comforted that it is you two taking up the other side of the argument. Wait, so you're mocking clenz, who clearly and expertly predicted the total collapse of Creighton in the tournament, despite your own contentions that Creighton was an unstoppable offensive force? You'd think when you were so wrong that you wouldn't double down with the same guy who proved you wrong in the first place.vutomcat wrote:Nova fans are comforted that it is you two taking up the other side of the argument. So which monkey are you in the picture - the one with his hands over his mouth, his ears, or his eyes? Or do you guys rotate through those positions?vutomcat wrote:And even more comfort now.GannonFan wrote:

It's not just Creighton I schooled him on...it was the entire conference.GannonFan wrote:So which monkey are you in the picture - the one with his hands over his mouth, his ears, or his eyes? Or do you guys rotate through those positions?vutomcat wrote:

Clenz, Cluck U and Gannon Fan. Sounds like we found all 3. No room for more.GannonFan wrote:So which monkey are you in the picture - the one with his hands over his mouth, his ears, or his eyes? Or do you guys rotate through those positions?vutomcat wrote:

He refuses to acknowledge my existence at this point.

You have just lost all credibility you had.vutomcat wrote:clenz wrote: It's not just Creighton I schooled him on...it was the entire conference.

Again for at least the third time now I am acknowledging you were right about Creighton. Little else though. The Big East is alive and well. I know you would like it if it were not so but alas, none of us can have everything we want.

Sorry Charley - GF is relentless in his Vulcan-like use of logic and reason. If he's calling this for Clenz it's over, you've been schooled.vutomcat wrote:And even more comfort now.GannonFan wrote:

He loves me, because I don't have all the stats to back up my statements...but all i have to do is quote you...but he forgets to read your posts.

You should take a step back, you are getting the worst of this. I agree with you that the Big East is not dead, but if you are not at least a little concerned about the future of the conference you are in denial.vutomcat wrote:grizzaholic wrote:

I know you have nothing better to do. SAD. Bring it on.
It's not that I don't have better things to do...I'm just really good at managing time. I'm also really good about remembering who said what (on message boards and in real life). That makes using the search function, combined with high speed internet, really useful.vutomcat wrote:grizzaholic wrote:
