Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
This should be an interesting year for EWU. We showed definite signs of improvement last year with Hayford. This year the team is mostly Hayford's recruits, including 4 international kids. Two from Australia (F Venky Jois 6'7-220, and G Daniel Hill 5'9-160) and two from Germany (C Frederik Jörg 7'1-285, and F Thomas Reuter 6'6-225) to go along with Oregon transfer F Martin Seiferth 6'10-230 who is also from Germany.

You guys got Craig Ehlo? Wow! I'm surprised he's not HC.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:This should be an interesting year for EWU. We showed definite signs of improvement last year with Hayford. I'm wondering: is your HC any relation to Jack? The bio doesn't say.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

On ROOT - Bobcats trail Seattle U 39-24 at the half. They're shooting about as well as the Lady Griz did on Friday.

I don't use the "official" abbreviations for a lot of teams.

This. And Sac State is atop the BSC (at least until WSU beats SJSU) for possibly the first time ever after steamrolling Bako last night.dbackjon wrote:Mvemjsunpx wrote:

Sac is the only Big Sky (men's) team with a DI win. Of course, that's largely because they're the only one that's actually had a DI home game, but still…

PSU 87-85 UO (2OT); Viks get the win despite an insane 38 points and 27 boards from Duck F Jillian Alleyne
BSU 70-56 WEB; All 10 Wildcats score, but none get any more than 10

So what you are saying is Sac State has a stranglehold on the BSC?Mvemjsunpx wrote:Except Weber just lost to SJSU.SDHornet wrote: This. And Sac State is atop the BSC (at least until WSU beats SJSU) for possibly the first time ever after steamrolling Bako last night.

Re: Big Sky Basketball - 2012-13
The difference in the game between Weber vs San Jose State is Tresnak going 0-8 that is 16 points, he scores just one of those shots Weber wins.
Weber played extrememly poorly, but still only lost by 1 in overtime. Davion Berry continues to impress me, this kid can be special.

I guess I'll have to root for Sac since they're a Big Sky team even though Krysko's the Utah coach.
