I'd toss Georgetown in there. I don't trust their system- that princeton stuff is fine and good, but it doesn't blow teams out. That's what you need to do as a high seed. I've consistently picked against G'Town since Hibbert and Jeff Green left for this very reason.Brock Landers wrote:Teams you never trust to get out of the sweet sixteen:dal4018 wrote:How come you didn't have the Zags making it to the elite 8????

You think this Princeton offense doesn't allow players to play at faster pace??rkwittem wrote:I'd toss Georgetown in there. By the way, FGCU has made history once again, this time the first #15 seed to reach the Sweet 16.
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

Re: Men's NCAA Tournament 2013
I'm not sure how my bracket compares with all yours. My entire East Region is toast except for Indiana, which I had losing to Montana in the next round. Half my West Region is gone, but I had OSU losing to Gonzaga in the Regional Final. About half of my South Region is out, but I still have KS, MI, and FL. I had KS vs. FL in the Regional Final, but given what's up with FL Gulf Coast, I'm not so sure about that right now.
My best region seems to be the Midwest, in which I have lost NO games so far, pending the result of Duke-Creighton. I still like Duke to beat Louisville in the Elite Eight.
So, other than my bogus stupidity in advancing UOP and Montana as far as I did, how am I doing?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: Men's NCAA Tournament 2013
If Brandon Moore were 7 ft instead of 6-10 Southern would have advanced their overall athleticism was too much for Gonzaga to deal with.Going into the game Southern said this as much that they could expose the lack of athleticism among the guards of Gonzaga and they did only Olnyk saved the Zags from defeat.Coach Mark Few himself said this in a post game interview about Southern and it's athleticism "There is no team in our legue that can match their athletic ability".As stated before if Moore was a legit 7 ft tall the Jags advance he had mobility to deal with Olnyk as did teammate Javan Mitchell who caused him problems as well.bonarae wrote:Southern couldn't take Gonzaga down, and lost.
On to NC A&T, South Dakota State, Harvard and Montana...

I had Gonzanga and Gtown making it to the Elite 8. I've lost 11 games with the West and East being the most busted. I never saw FGCU being a cinderella. Well, i'm still perfect in the Midwest.
Turns out I might be a little gay. 89Hen 11/7/17

This is my worst performance EVER in my brackets. Of course, I've watched about 2:00 minutes of basketball this season in total, so I had already set the bar pretty low for myself.

Big East represent!
Marquette and Syracuse move on to the elite 8. Sadly, only one can make it to the final 4.
Also, looks like we will get that OSU vs. Wichita matchup. Should be a good one!
