Since this NCAA thing is new to you Delaware guys, I will let you know that you are being screwed by having to go to Washington as the CAA Champ. It rarely happens that they send the CAA Champ that far away.
On another UD topic, you guys need to get rid of the His & Hers mascots. WTF?

We went four or five times in the 90s. I watched a couple of championship games on our home court when I was a student.CAA Flagship wrote:Since this NCAA thing is new to you Delaware guys..
On your other notes, we're in the East region. No idea how Spokane is hosting East Region games. All four teams are in the Eastern time zone.
And yeah, Baby Blue is a dumb mascot. I guess they came up with that for little kids that might be scared of YouDee or something? Hey, at least it's not a butterfly.

Harvard is higher than Delaware?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I'm okay with it. I expected Delaware to get a 13 seed, Harvard at 12 is not a shock.SuperHornet wrote:Harvard is higher than Delaware?

You two might be right, 93/86. But if we get the rare 12-13 matchup in the second round, I say the Hens win in a rout....

I'd love to see it. I think Harvard has a really good chance to win their first game, Mich. St will be a tough out for the Hens.SuperHornet wrote:You two might be right, 93/86. But if we get the rare 12-13 matchup in the second round, I say the Hens win in a rout....

Re: Delaware Rolling
I'm talking CAA not whatever conference you were in during the 90's. What was that BTW?93henfan wrote:We went four or five times in the 90s.CAA Flagship wrote:Since this NCAA thing is new to you Delaware guys..
This season, the CAA is rated the #15 conference. During most of the last 10 years the CAA was ranked between 9-15 and I don't remember the Champion going all the way out west. It may have happened once but I don't know. We went to Mass. in '92 and '05, Pitt in '97, Albany in '95, DC in 2011 and New Orleans in 2010 as CAA Champs. New Orleans was the only one outside of the EC(b) time zone, but I wasn't complaining. NOLA >>>>>>>Spokane.
I know vcu went to Buffalo in 2007 and went to Philly in 2009. Mason was in the EC(b) during their Final Four run (2006?).
I'm just saying you got screwed. Probably because there are too many good teams coming from the EC(b) that they had to send somebody out west.

Harvard has a shot at the 12-5 upset. Delaware does have a tougher first game. If UD and Harvard actually meet, as 93 says, the winner gets a free meal at next year's Crabfest.

Ditto for me. I actually picked you to the Sweet 16. Maybe I should stick to O'Douls. But best of luck agin' the Spartans who might just be too relaxed.tribe_pride wrote:I am not going to sign up for a gohens account so wanted to say good luck to you guys on here.

Now that the perfect bracket is broken, I'll be rooting hard for Delaware to pull the upset!
