Chuck South vs Garner Webb

The Bucs kick off their Big South conference schedule this week at GW. Like to here what folks think about this matchup.

G-W has a D2 win, a SoCon win, and beat VMI, and two FBS losses, so how good they are is hard to judge.

GW has traditionally had a few playmakers on defense. The offense has looked pretty decent against like competition (can't really compare FBS games). Should be a good game.

Chuck South is without a doubt the best Buc team I have seen to date. They are much more balanced in their offensive attack, special teams are rock solid. Only problem is the youth of the defense. The experience those young guys got from the Florida and the South Florida games will pay great dividends down the road for sure. Look forward to a great game tomorrow and hope both teams come out injury free.

I appreciate your post bucdad, and agree that the offense is better balanced and may be as good as our 2005 team led by Colin Drafts. this game will be close, but think we can win it. other boards have us losing by 10 or more, but they seldom give us credit.

I think this game might be closer than predicted. Both have two FBS losses. G-W has a really bad loss to Buffalo. G-W struggled against VMI and WCU. CSU lost to Wofford. Both beat a DII.
