Worst Performance: Eastern Washington 14, Northern Iowa 17 - The Eagles give up less than 20 points and lose for the first time since a defeat in Ogden in 2018, ironically the last year they made the national title game.

Most Surprising Result: Northern Colorado 17, (#18) South Dakota 24 (OT) - The suddenly game Bears again just miss a big upset mostly thanks to their failure to score a TD after getting 1st. & goal at the 1 with 46 seconds left.

Most Surprising Result: McNeese St. 41, Weber St. 42 - After throwing a pick-six and falling behind by 21 points, the Cowboys rallied with 3 straight TDs only to get their 2PC pass batted down at the line in the final minute.

Most Surprising Result: (#18) South Dakota 24, Northern Colorado 17 (OT) - The Coyotes are really gonna have to fix some things if they want to live up to the preseason hype.

    vs. FCS: 2-2
    Overall: 10-6

Best Performance: (#3) Tarleton St. 56, Central Arkansas 10 - The Texans continue to look like a national title contender as they thoroughly dominate a typically good team on the road.

Worst Performance: Eastern Kentucky 7, (FBS) Marshall 38 - The Colonels gain just 102 yards against an FBS opponent that hadn’t looked too good coming in.

Most Surprising Result: West Georgia 35, East Tennessee St. 31 - The transitional Wolves move to 3-0 after scoring 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter and stunning the Buccaneers.

Worst Performance: Stetson 0, Tennessee-Chattanooga 63 - The Hatters allow three 100-yard rushers and get wasted by an unranked team.

Most Surprising Result: St. Thomas 20, (DII) Northern Michigan 7 - The Tommies, who have looked solid against FCS opponents, struggle to put away a DII that has now lost 25 consecutive games. :?

Worst Performance: Albany 17, New Haven 24 - The Great Danes are averaging just 53.7 rushing yards-per-game so far this season.

Most Surprising Result: Albany 17, New Haven 24 - It’s one thing to lose to a Delaware State program that’s probably on the rise, but losing to a first-year transitional that was handled by Marist and blown out by Mercyhurst shows things are going in a really bad direction in Albany.

    Overall: 5-17

    vs. FCS: 2-4
    Overall: 4-12

Best Performance: Furman 28, Campbell 24 - The Paladins get a road win thanks in part to DE Joshua Stoneking and his 6 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, 2.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.

South Carolina St finally showed that they had a decent passing attack but they didn't feature Nick Sowell who should be the Bulldogs top WR he is 6-6 205 he should have been top pass catcher for them last year he is a NFL PROSPECT.
