    Worst Performance: Cal Poly 0, (#16) Montana 57 - The Mustangs allow 695 yards to a Griz offense that had totaled 720 yards over the previous 3 games combined.

    Most Surprising Result: Northern Arizona 38, (#3) Montana St. 41 - RJ Martinez threw for a career-high 452 yards and 3 touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to offset a Lumberjack defense that could only manage 2 tackles-for-loss.

    Worst Performance: Texas A&M-Commerce 14, Northwestern St. 41 - The Lions commit 13 penalties and gain just 243 yards against a defense that was allowing 426 ypg coming in.

    Most Surprising Result: Northwestern St. 41, Texas A&M-Commerce 14 - The Demons went 0-5 out-of-conference and were outscored by 34 points-per-game in those losses, but they've still managed to start 4-0 in conference (disclaimer: they haven't played UIW or SELU yet).

    Most Surprising Result: Kennesaw St. 44, (#20) Tennessee-Martin 27 - Chance Gamble picks off 3 passes and returns 1 of them 89 yards for a touchdown as the Owls fly themselves into the fringe playoff discussion.

    Most Surprising Result: Lafayette 21, Colgate 16 - The 261 yards the Leopards allowed to Colgate was their second stingiest performance behind oddly the 181 they allowed to conference champ Holy Cross.
