This firing is a bit more confusing. Elder only went 21-24 in 4 seasons, but he was 14-9 last 2 seasons.

The new coach will be Kentucky assistant Walt Wells. Wells had 2 separate stints as an EKU assistant and was also the OC at South Florida in 2013.
