ODU opens the season Sept. 5 against Chowan, coming off a 2-8 record in a schedule that also includes Campbell, which went 1-10 in its first year of football since 1950, and Savannah State, which hasn't had a winning season since joining Division I-AA in 2000. So a plus-.500 record out of the gate is not out of the realm of possibility for a team with a redshirt year of practice under its belt.

I bet they can. They played it smart with the scheduling and it's going to be a very interesting story line to follow their progress this year. it would be nice to see them get a couple of early wins to get some ODU posters showing up on the board as well.
