SH's Predictions

Post by SuperHornet »

For what they're worth. (Probably not all that much.)

I think EWU wins their SF with YSU, and I would have said that BEFORE the news of the pops hit. It'll probably be a bit worse if that report proves true, but I think EWU wins anyway.

I think NDSU wins a close one. But the edge isn't all that much, and a JMU win would not surprise me in the least.

I think there's a rather large edge for EWU if they play JMU. Not so much if NDSU gets in; to quote Jim Ross, that will be a slobberknocker of epic proportions. I think EWU wins either way. While EWU will beat JMU by quite a bit, it won't be anywhere near as bad as the beatdown JMU put on their QF opponent. A NDSU-EWU tilt will likely be decided by less than a TD, and may even go to multiple OTs. If for whatever reason YSU sneaks by EWU, though, don't look for a decent final if the allegations prove true. What JMU did in the QF may pale in comparison to what will happen in the chipper if EITHER JMU or NDSU face YSU.

Final SF choices:

EWU 45, YSU 24.
NDSU 35, JMU 31.

Chipper Choice:

EWU 42, NDSU 41, 3OT.

No kidding, 3 OTs would barely get JMU into the mid 20s..........
