Chuck South QB's looking good early
Looks like there may be a heated battle for the #1 spot at QB this season as A.J. Tuscano and Gabe Gilmore battle it out. Sophmores Reid Sanders and Jordon Belser will round out the stable when all is said and done. Tuscano is coming off a knee injury late in the season and still a little bothered by it from what I see, but his passes are crisp and on the mark and his reads look good so far. Only two workouts under their belt but looks to be a great spring session for the Bucs this season.

Tough call right now but if I had to choose I would say AJ just from his arm strength and 2 years JUCO experience, but don't count you Gilmore out. He is a quick study, has been in Mills system two years already and has some wheels if he has to tuck it in and go. Good thing is whichever one it is, we have them for another season in 2010 and Gilmore stays til 2011.
One kid I did not mention initially was Kelo Ivey. He came in last year at about 185, he has really worked hard this off season to improve his upper body strength and the kid is a beast at 5' 8" and routinely leaves the secondary tackling air if he gets into the open field. I expect him to have a standout season this year however Mills decides to use him either as a flanker or at RB. Would love to see him and Stevenson both returning kicks this year.
