Former Georgia Tech quarterback Vad Lee plans to finish his college career at James Madison, according to his Twitter account.

Lee's departure from Georgia Tech came just days after the 2013 season ended with a 25-17 loss to Ole Miss in the Music City Bowl. The redshirt sophomore from Durham, N.C. has two years of eligibility left and will not have to sit out a year due to NCAA's transfer rules because James Madison competes at the FCS level.

Lee completed just 45.6 percent of his passes, throwing for 1,561 yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his first year as a starter. Georgia Tech's offense averaged 6.10 yards per play with him calling the shots in the option attack; good for fourth in the ACC. However, according to ESPN, Lee was never a big fan of Paul Johnson's offense.

If Lee wins the starting job at James Madison, his first game will be against another former member of the ACC as the Dukes open the 2014 season at Maryland, now a member of the Big Ten. However there is no guarantee that Lee will be the starter next season, with first-year coach Everett Withers inheriting an experienced starting quarterback in Michael Birdsong."

Damn, I was Wrong. I was sure he was going to Furman. He said that he wanted to be close to home, but I guess VA is close to Durham, NC. KOngrats to him. He's still a little puss.
