Good post.

4 conferences with winning records. MVFC clearly best of course NDSU has most of their wins but nonetheless MVFC clearly superior in this measurement. Big sky suffers with this year's performance or they would have been a clear 2nd. As it is, they share with CAA for that position.

Thanks for the hard work ... but, it's not enough to really mean anything.

Go back 2 more years, and the CAA would surge forward (Villanova & Richmond)

Go back 5 more years, and the SoCon would surge forward (Appalachian)

Go back 10 more years, and I suspect the SoCon would look even better (The Convicts and The Vermin)

Go back 10 more years and Montana would add a lot of playoff wins as well.

Go back 30 more years and so would MSU and ISU.

11 years also includes JMU's title and UD's title, as well as UD's runners up in 2007, and 2010. Include nova, Richmond, and Towson to that mix and you have 7 teams (5 different) reaching the final.

Also, I believe that in one of those CAA title years the CAA's entrants only lost to other CAA teams...which makes the CAA's W-L record look worse than a real comparison to the other conferences.
These signatures have a 500 character limit?

What if I have more personalities than that?

If we keep going back, we get NDSU's 3 College Divisions titles prior to I-AA and DII origins. ;)
