Northern Iowa quarterback Sawyer Kollmorgen has led the No. 4 Panthers to a 4-0 record this season, including a 28-20 win at FBS Iowa State in the season opener.
But Kollmorgen, a second-year starter, has largely been overshadowed by running back David Johnson, who is averaging 7.4 yards per carry and already has 555 rushing yards.
So the Jenks, Okla., native recently took to the streets of Cedar Falls and asked students and residents what they thought of Sawyer Kollmorgen.
The video was inspired by New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who did a similar video for the Jimmy Fallon Show in New York.
Kollmorgen, a redshirt sophomore, hasn't been too shabby himself. He's completed 67-of-96 passes (69.8 percent) for 875 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions.
Watch for a Johnson cameo as Kollmorgen sets up fans by asking what they think of the Panthers football team.
Northern Iowa is getting ready for Saturday's showdown at No. 1 North Dakota State, which knocked off Kansas State earlier this season. The game starts at 2:30 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports North Plus and Fox College Sports Pacific.
