Future Stars for SUU

Hello everyone. Looking over the Signing prospects for SUU this year two names stood out in particular. Quarterback Ammon Olsen was Utah’s reigning 5A MVP and led Alta High to a state championship this year, throwing for 3,209 yards and 36 touchdowns and rushing for 11 more. This kid is a stud and will have a good chance to be starting for the Thunderbirds this fall. We also aquired Drake Eckholdt a TE/WR who was one of Ammon Olsen's favorite targets, a big kid with great hands who is hard to bring down. He had 44 receptions for 641 yards and 9 touchdowns during the regular season (he had much more in the playoffs just dont know the exact number) This kid catches everything thrown at him and i expect him to start as well and join SUU's already very talented WR core. I do too. The real tests are going to be against UC-Davis and Cal Poly. Not overlooking the Dakotas but i feel that Lamb has done a hell of a job recruiting especially nabbing Olsen for QB.
