Forgive me if someone's already posted this, but in the same vein as the hoops Top 144, here is the Top 44 football teams from the same place. Like any other "poll," it has the usual pre-season limitations (like, I think that the last selection is WAY too low, while #20 is WAY too high), but overall, it seems pretty good, despite the fact that the top 9 spots haven't been released yet. It also includes teams who are probably ineligible to win the title because they're in transition to FBS.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
