Indiana State's Greatest Season Ever

Post by ShakirBell22 »

This is the greatest season Indiana State has ever had. I know we're only 7-2 and for some of you that is pretty regular to see out of your team from time to time. You have to remember that this program was in newspapers and magazines everywhere for having the longest losing streak of all-time. The program was a complete and ridiculous joke just a few years ago. Trent Miles and Ron Prettyman (AD) should definitely be noticed nationally for the job they have done. Let's get these next two wins and roll in to the playoffs. Possibly even a top 5 ranking? Only losses to Indiana, who somehow is still in the B10 mix, and SDSU who is nationally ranked as well. I'm just saying.....Fear the Trees

Agreed, congrats. I'm a believer, beat Illinois St this weekend and I'll really believe. If the Sycamores win out I'd like to see them get a seed but I'm not sure it will happen.

I know it's hard to compare apples and oranges, but any IN St opinions on how this football season compares to that "magic" season with Bird?

And Illinois State may have just derailed the Trees playoff train with a 17-10 'upset' in Terre Haute today. But kudos to Coach Miles and the Trees for positioning themselves for a playoff shot!!

I would think a lot of FBS programs with impeding coaching searches have him all over their radar
