We move down for taking App to the wire. Montana State moves up for struggling with Drake. Awesome poll as always

Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
Well if we ever play a Pioneer team and eke out a win, you let them hear it!
Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
Illinois State should have moved up more than 2 spots after whooping EMU!!!
Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
i remember a certain team that struggled with DII western oregon last year, that win was anything but impressive. don't get me wrong the cats are not playing to their potential right now, and i hope they figure it out fast... i've seen quite a few teams in the big sky that look better at this point.Brock Landers wrote:Well if we ever play a Pioneer team and eke out a win, you let them hear it!

Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
Well, we didn't have to come from behind in the 4th quarter, and it wasn't a dead heat yardage-wise. And we sat JJ most of the game. And it was a blowout.CatMan wrote:i remember a certain team that struggled with DII western oregon last year, that win was anything but impressive. don't get me wrong the cats are not playing to their potential right now, and i hope they figure it out fast... i've seen quite a few teams in the big sky that look better at this point.Brock Landers wrote:Well if we ever play a Pioneer team and eke out a win, you let them hear it!
A better comparison would of been the CWU game in 2008. A performance where we deserved to drop like a rock in the rankings (which we did the next week after the debacle in Ogden)

Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
I think you are a top 10 team, but beating arguably the 2nd worst MAC school isn't going to bump you up in the ratings much. I know YSU expected you and NDSU to win last week. Conference wins will be a lot bigger than that win, I can assure you of that.isumatt wrote:Illinois State should have moved up more than 2 spots after whooping EMU!!!

Re: Coaches Poll (Week 2)
SFA beat a DII and lost to an FBS. They shouldn't even be receiving votes.
