Julian Dozier (CB): 3 star recruit (#61 CB in the NATION according to Rivals.com) - Having seen him personally a few times, he is a STUD (atleast the times I saw the two of them, better than Dominick Maddox). Rivals has Dozier Rated at 5.6, Maddox was graded at a 5.5. (Stony Point; Round Rock, TX) Interested in Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma State, Purdue, North Texas, Ohio, SMU, Texas State, TCU, UTEP. Only offer to date is from Texas State
until yesterday. UTEP had to go in and weasel him away from us.
Here's a post from Bobcatfans:
and another postsorry fellas. talked to my source today and he said that he might be heading to UTEP after all. He said that they came with a last minute offer and he is debating what he is going to do. He put in a good word for TxSt, because my source is actually going to be transfering from TxSouthern and going to TxSt to play secondary, and he wants Dozier to join him...
let's hope it works.
figures. I was thinking along the lines of what another poster said as well. We may be the only offer, but the moment some 1A school comes in with an offer as well, we usually lose these types of kids. I remember last year there some great commits that bolted the moment the big schools came calling. Kaeron Johnson of last years recruiting class comes to mind.
