Prior to Western Carolina: Two-time Burke County Player of the Year and a three-time All-South Mountain Athletic Conference selection ... Garnered the league's offensive player of the year plaudits as a junior after throwing for a school-record 2,652 yards and 30 touchdowns, adding 361 rushing yards and eight rushing TDs ... High School: A 2011 graduate of Sierra Canyon HS in Chatsworth, Calif…earned first team all-Southern Section East Valley honors as a senior…also garnered second team all-area and first team all-Alpha League accolades…caught 75 passes for 1,229 yards and 21 touchdowns that year…also rushed nine times for 139 yards and two TDs and had 101 tackles on defense…recorded six games with at least 100 receiving yards and caught a touchdown in 11 of 13 games…caught eight passes for 157 yards and three TDs against Kilpatrick for his season highs…also had three touchdown receptions against Montclair Prep…had two or more receiving TDs in eight games…defensively, he had at least nine tackles in eight games…tallied a season-high 12 stops against Poly…also served as the team’s punter and kick returner…was named the Alpha League Offensive Player of the Year as a senior…voted as the MVP of the Sports Scholarship USA All-Star game which pitted players from the Southern Section against the City Section…had four catches for 143 yards and a TD in that game.
