There's a bunch of receivers on the list. But that's OK, I'll take our # 3 and 4 receivers over any other teams 1 and 2'sEWURanger wrote:I know receivers never get it...but no Nick Edwards?

I agree Edwards deserves to be up there as much as any other receiver.

Kinda ridiculous to not even be on the list after the numbers he put up last season and the fact that he was on the list at season's end.SUUThunder wrote:EWURanger wrote:I know receivers never get it...but no Nick Edwards?

That said, he probably won't put up the same kind of numbers again this year with Kaufman back in the mix but he should be on this pre-season list given last year's performance.

So what belongs to the nominee?20 Walter Payton Award nominee's 2012

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Just a moment to note today Walter Payton would have been 58 years young.

Too bad that Michael Berry of Southern University didn't have the numbers because with his size 6-3 215 and speed 4.44 he is definitely NFL material.
