Re: 99 DAYS!!!
EWU #99 - DE Anthony Larry

6-3, 250 - Jr.
Hometown: Sacramento, CA
2011: Played in all 11 games as a defensive end for the Eagles, and accumulated 40 tackles (21 solo), with 12 tackles for loss. Larry also had 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and 2 QB hurries.
2010: Played in 12 games as a defensive end for the Eagles, and had a sack in his Eagle debut versus Nevada (9/2/10). That helped him earn his first and only start of the season against Central Washington (9/11/10). But he suffered a dislocated patella early in that contest and missed three games. He was expected to play against Weber State (10/2/10), but his knee continued to build up fluid and needed to be drained. He returned to play limited snaps against Northern Arizona (10/9/10) and gradually re-gained playing time. He also sat out against Idaho State (11/20/10) to rest the knee for the playoffs. He had a season-high four tackles versus Sacramento State (10/23/10), a sack versus Southern Utah (11/13/10) and a half-sack against Villanova (12/17/10) in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship Subdivision Playoffs. He helped the Eagle defense rank first nationally in interceptions (total of 26) and turnovers gained (47), and finish sixth nationally in red zone defense, as it allowed just 38 scores in 58 opponent trips inside the Eagle 20-yard line.
2009: Redshirted.
HS: Graduated from Luther Burbank HS in 2009. As a senior, he was one of just 26 players named to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro (all-area) team. He was also selected to the All-Metro Conference team as a wide receiver. He finished the year with 55 tackles, 13 sacks and an interception. Burbank High School finished 6-6 his senior season and played for a section title for the first time in school history.
Personal: Born 9/20/91 in Crookston, Minn. Recreation and leisure management major.

Re: 99 DAYS!!!
ASU:

All-conference performer returns to the field nearly two years and two severe injuries removed the last game he played, a 35-31 victory at Richmond in the 2009 NCAA Division I Football Championship quarterfinals ... following that triumph, Tanyi severely injured a knee in the final period of the last full practice before the 2009 national semifinals at Montana ... remarkably rehabbed the knee injury in eight months only to suffer a severe injury to his left foot during last fall’s preseason camp, which required surgery and cost him the entire ‘10 campaign ... received a medical redshirt while sitting out last fall and has two seasons of eligibility remaining ... has been tabbed as the starter at strongside linebacker in place of Justin Wray, who will miss the entire campaign following shoulder surgery ... Tanyi could also see time at ASU’s linebacker-defensive line hybrid rush end position.
2010: Sustained a severe injury to his left foot during fall camp and underwant season-ending surgery ... received a medical redshirt and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
