Joe Glenn to be Coyotes new head coach
Joe Glenn to be Coyotes new head coach
According to the Argus Leader, Glenn will be introduced as the new Coyote coach on Monday. This hire brings instant credibility to this team. He has a great track record which will help recruiting and fundraising. This guy is a Coyote hall of famer and is loved by the alumni. Always envied his teams from Northern Colorado. Now he has to assemble a staff. Can't wait for next season.

What about his days at Montana...more known for that.

I only remember his days at UNC when they would come to Vermillion and push us around. Nice thing is he knows how to win at the FCS level. As far as his Wyoming days, nobody wins at Wyoming.

Seems like a good hire for USD. If nothing else he will get your fan base energized & believing in the program.

What the fuck are you referring to? Wyoming has an all-time winning record of 392 wins compared to 322 losses. They're 8-4 this year and heading to a Bowl game with a true-freshman at QB. You lost some credibility here dumb ass!coyote62 wrote:I only remember his days at UNC when they would come to Vermillion and push us around. Nice thing is he knows how to win at the FCS level. This might be a good hire for SD, but Glenn relied heavily on assistant coaches like Kay Dalton, Marty English, Mike Breske, Earnest Collins, etc. These guys are all coaching else where.

Isn't Joe a South Dakota alum as well?
Great guy, despite the way he left UM.

You always know when he's getting to leave when he starts practicing new fight songs on his piano

Hey there Bigsky dude, not looking for credibility, just relaying information and first hand experience about my experiences with coach Glenn. As far as Wyoming goes, I am glad they are going to a bowl game, just not sure its really that relevant. Coach Glenn took them to a bowl game and beat UCLA. Don't think a victory over a national power like Temple puts the cowpokes into the the national spotlight anytime soon, but if your excited, good for you.

Sounds to me like someone is scared. Bring it on Bison nation.lakesbison wrote:a crappy coach for a crappy town congrats

It's far more excitement than USD has ever seen. But be understanding; NDSU has never been near an FCS national championship, so how would he know?Darell1976 wrote:Do not throw facts at Lakes...he doesn't like it.griz37 wrote:

Except most coaches who have been at Wyoming, like Paul Roach, Joe Tiller, Dave Christensen.. all managed to win a lot of games in Laramie. Joe Glenn even won some games there..coyote62 wrote:I only remember his days at UNC when they would come to Vermillion and push us around. Nice thing is he knows how to win at the FCS level. Re: Joe Glenn to be Coyotes new head coach
lol... look at the Coyote talking smack on a team that has more tradition and history in the last 30 years than USD has had in its football life time. Let us know when your team stops scheduling D2s and actually plays some ball games and finds its way into the playoffs. Or the next time we can see your Coyotes on ESPN...coyote62 wrote:Hey there Bigsky dude, not looking for credibility, just relaying information and first hand experience about my experiences with coach Glenn. Wyoming has won 392 games versus 322 losses since 1945. Where do you get this silly notion that "no one wins in Wyoming."? You're ignorant.coyote62 wrote:Hey there Bigsky dude, not looking for credibility, just relaying information and first hand experience about my experiences with coach Glenn.
