Any rumblings on new USD Coyote coach

Anyone hearing any names being tossed about? The 2 names I am hearing are Glen Caruso from St. Thomas and old Northern Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming coach Joe Glenn.

Wow, Joe Glenn? USD is where he started his career, I believe.

Caruso would be a great hire. People in the Twin Cities love him. He also recruited some great players from the 2007 Bison team. I was hoping if we lost coach Bohl to FBS, Caruso would be there in waiting.

I would be happy as hell with either one, and the alumni would be more than pleased with Joe. He is very popular with the town of Vermillion. But, if it was Joe, I think he would have been introduced by now. So my guess is Caruso. They are waiting for him to be done with the playoffs first at St. Thomas.

Joe Glenn always relied heavily on his assistant coaches who followed him from UNC to Montana to Wyoming. They've all gone somewhere else and they're coaching all over the country, so I doubt he would be as successful without them. Guys like Breske, Marty English, Earnest Collins are firmly planted elsewhere.
