The Great American ECB CS.com Get-together 2011

Post by andy7171 »

Delaware @ Towson
10-29-11
7pm game start.

Hot Towson girls in Halloween/Stripper outfits.
If we beat Richmond, IF, we might need to buy tickets early.
How am I to handle this? Group sales >10 are $3. Last week, there was a line of 25-30 people on the visitor side BUYING @6:50pm. BillK says  Delaware games, before 2009 was always the biggest crowd.

I can't front the money if it's too many attendees, F'ing Catholic school tuition, how should we work this? Parking is free, barring the best lot in the house. Which I will have a place to party with plety of run around room for any kids, including my own.

Who's in?

Cappy, D1B I know I invited you both way back when.... :thumb:
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

I'm only coming if it involves lunch on Friday, some of Wedgie's peppered elk salami, and I don't have to pay for a single drink at any of the bars. :tothehand:

From maryland247 message board...
Can somebody just start posting pictures of hot Towson girls? That always makes a thread about Towson better.
Nailed it!

Group sales >10 are $3?

OK, two comments/questions:

1. Towson has $3 tickets?
2. You can't front $30?

I'll be at this game, regardless of how the tickets are procured. I'd like to sit with and tailgate with the folks here if possible.

Make it happen Andy!

Where is Townshend?
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Hey fuckface, that poor game on the political board is my life. Three kids in Catholic school does that to you. I buy 10 tickets at the group rate and save $15 every home game. Its the potential $60-90 bill I don't want to get hung with when no one shows.

And I like ODU 1/6 more than before. :D

Seriously, I signed up for it, so I don't mind. :D They are why I'm here. I can make sacrifices, if they don't show up on Jersey Shore or 16 and Pregnant. :twocents:

I'm cool. 8-)

I'm cool with fronting money for people I've met, but not for people I haven't.
As of now that list doesn't go over my 10 ticket listing. Just saying. 93 is always welcome to come up to a Towson game. dback and col too. And bandle and asu8 honorable mention.

Well, this DC/Balt/DE/SEPA crowd is notoriously difficult to organize, so I assume trying to sit together is out of the question. Can you at least get like three or four tailgate spots together? I know BHBK and I are at least reliable enough for that. Or do you have to be Towson peeps in your little VIP area (cause we'd both be flying the blue and gold)?

Andy - lunch sometime so I can pony up my $3? Do you accept change? Foodstamps? Hand-me-down Catholic school jumpers?

BUMP

OK, time to get serious about this. I'm trying to figure out if any of you bastages want to get tickets together (no homo). Andy did not make a typo in the original post. Group tickets are $3 each versus $15 each for singles. My dad and I were going anyway, so I have no problems scooping up 10 tickets for the same price as 2 and doling them out to the group. Yes, the cheapest bastard on the board is handing out free tickets.

Game is Sat Oct 29 at 7 pm. Who would like in on the CS.com group buy? Just looking for a roll call right now. We can work out details later:

Throw in airfare from Missoula (should be less than a grand) and I'm there.

No. I have priced airfare to Missoula and it's ridiculous. You can fly nonstop to Germany cheaper. Those are two trips I've been planning, so the data is current.
Bullshit. I spent $800 last year from CHS to Munich

Washington D.C to Munich, Germany: $969 non stop

Washington D.C to Missoula, Montana: $458, 1 stop

WOuld you fly out of Baltimore?

I edited the post. It was more last week. By the way, there are flights to Germany out of Philly in the low $700s nonstop.

In '08 I flew from Missoula to Berlin, roundtrip, for $860, on British Airways, no less. Not so much anymore. :(
