Thank goodness for the FCS
Watched the bowel selection show tonight and had to gag through Turd Herbgeek and Mark Maylay talk about how it would have been a travestry to have both Boise and Utah in BCS bowls. Said that Boise does not have the depth and talent to compete with the Alabama's so Ohio State deserved to be there. Like the Buckeyes have done so well against teams in the NC the last few years. Lets be thankful for settling it on the field.....I was sick of hearing from those dopes
"Born in other countries, yet believing you could be happy in this, our laws acknowledge, as they should do, your right to join us in society, conforming, as I doubt not you will do, to our established rules. That these rules shall be as equal as prudential considerations will admit, will certainly be the aim of our legislatures, general and particular." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to Hugh White, 1801

no doubt - we get the teams in the playoffs, and let them settle it on the field.

After watching 2 of the best teams go out in the first and second round of this years tournament because of where they were seeded, west vs west in the first 2 rounds. I am no longer convinced that what the FCS is doing is any better.

The best teams show up to every game. MAYBE one team has the history and the talent to justify calling it the better team, but if you don't show up in the most important game of the season (and every game is the most important game of the season in the playoffs) and are not the better team that day, then the right team is moving on.

Sorry dude, but the fact that Weber lost to Montana does not mean there is a conspiracy against Westen teams or there is a flaw in our playoff system. You lost to a better team on that given day, same as App. You could have played them again in Weber had you maintained your lead against EWU. Currently, there are two western teams and two eastern teams left with a chance for an all western final game. Quit bitching and join the rest of us losers for a beer for the next two weeks.Wildcat Ryan wrote:After watching 2 of the best teams go out in the first and second round of this years tournament because of where they were seeded, west vs west in the first 2 rounds.
