Lots of realignment implications if this is true, and much so depending upon which school they have in mind. La Tech? Fans would probably not like the SBC much more so than the now realigned WAC. New Mexico State? Likely not very appealing to the SBC. Tulane? It would take a lot for them to make that call from being in a conference with Rice and Tulsa, but there might me more behind the scenes if the Green Wave needed to make that move.
The article is very clear that it would be an FBS team realigning rather than one moving up from FCS, but any move would force other conferences into making changes of their own.
Anybody buying this? Many ramifications if it turns out to be the case.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
