Is it too early

Post by clenz »

I'm putting together my "preseason breakdown" each each MVFC program, as well as record/standing predictions (game by game for each school), playoff predictions, -OY predictions (COY, OPOY, DPOY, MVP), and a write up doing a "warp up" on last year and what I expect this year.

I'm doing these as a blog entry for the site and my new blog. I'm wondering, though, if it is too early to start posting these. I have my Illinois State write up done and ready to post. However, part of me things I should wait until it's closer to football season and site traffic picks up - plus spring practice hasn't started yet and things could happen with returning players.

My breakdowns won't change unless a player gets kicked off the team or something like that though.

Let me know what you would prefer.

I would do each team with their own entry (alphabetically) then the big MVFC one.

Do it now, and then revise later based on developments. There can never be too much football talk at any time!

Later. With March madness kicking off, that will swallow up our attention for the next month. Then NBA playoffs and to a much lesser extent the NHL playoffs will keep sports fans occupied through May and early June. Throw in baseball and that will keep people excited for a few weeks until the boringness of the sport takes over. Then the football withdrawals will really kick in and that would be the perfect time for any preseason outlooks. So until then, refine and review your work until its release. :thumb:

I’m going to give a go for a Big Sky preview to post on Sac Buzz this off/preseason. Hopefully I can get started in the coming month or two. :|
