There was nothing wrong with the seeds as they were. There was marginal debate as to whether EWU could be a #4 seed but not really any higher than that.
One thing that always gives a chuckle is the use of TSN rankings as a defense of where a team ought to be. Those are not he ranking used by the selection committee. They don't use any of the public rankings, they have their own.
TSN is a good thing for fans to look at but it sure as hell ain't a be all end all test. Where were Villanova & GSU on the TSN? They made the final four so I'd shy away from that #1 ranking defense on this issue cuz it's pretty hollow.
I'm sure the NCAA is embarrassed that two of their seeds are in the championship game.
Two BSC teams got seeded also so I guess they may have given some respect?
