I saw this article earlier and the author leaves out what are some very valid points in comparing Russell's effort vs. Pall's when Wofford played GSU.

Wofford doubled Russell all night with two upper classmen while Pall had one on one with a true freshman OT all night and it showed. In fact, with the exception of the Navy game where Russell faced a single blocker all day and ran wild, Russell has faced double teams on at least 80% of the snaps this year. That's why some of the other young players like DuBose, Rowe, Gebhardt are having big years despite their youth.

It ain't always about stats because it is a team game. The film doesn't lie... perhaps the author should watch some.

No disrespect to Pall, but Brent Russell is better. Matter of fact, the number of FCS D-linemen that are better than Brent Russell can be counted on one hand.
