MSU on top of the Sky at 2-0 smoking EWU and beating sac but allowing 61 pts was strange. They should be 5-0 with a pick at Wazzu before they could kick the game winning chip shot and they'd be Top 5 in the nation. They are a beatable team but will they lose?
NAU has only played ISU, had bye week, played a non DI & an FBS, beating SUU for a quality fCS win. @ EWU this week.
PSU beat ISU but we don't know a whole lot about this team yet, 2 FBS losses and a shootout with Davis.
EWU beat UM, won at WSU without taiwan, loss to MSU only had taiwan for the first half, they need him back. With TJ healthy they could be a conf winner with the bulk of the schedule out of the way after NAU game this week. But Sac is looking good and is a few weeks out, a better team than many thought, the still have SUU too near the end.
UM at week 6 with only 1 DI beatdown is hard to believe, harder to believe is being 2-2. Next 2 games are ISU and PSU which should get them to 4-1 in conf. TO's could still be an issue and can Roper get them to a title? Has Chase had injuries? His season rushing yards seem very low.
UNC looked good through week 4 even only playing 2 FCS games. A big non DI win and a FBS loss. A 4OT loss at WSU that should have been a win; ISU win, then did nothing vs UM. Is something up with Orms? He didn't do much vs UM, I didn't hear if he was hurt or pulled. The remaining 6 games look very tough: @Sac, EWU, @MSU, @USD, NAU, @PSU.
Sac is a team I have enjoying right now most in the conf. Sac fans have been running their mouths
since the preseason telling us they aren't getting respect and soon as they beat Weber it got worse but it was a quality win. 
Sac followed that up with an almost win at UM and well I don't know what to make of the 64-61 OT loss to MSU the team everyone was hot on a week ago to win the conf. Sac is for real over very close to it. They scored more (17) against Stanford than Notre Dame (14) and UCLA (0) did. WSU? BC sucks, maybe we should have beat them, 4OT win vs UNC, close but lost to sac, played like garb for 3.5 quarters vs ewu & was almost a blow out, a 20-9 win vs Davis was the theme of our season, do nothing in the first half, run the ball ineffectively. Come out in the 2nd half airing it out and start scoring in the 3rd and 4th Qs. You can do that against Davis, they weren't a Top 40 team. Keeping TO's down can make up for other weaknesses but when we don't its last yr all over again. EWU game was just like watching a 2009 game.
ISU, 0-4 vs DI, I have nothing to say. They can't do anything right. I think they are averaging like 30 RPG and around 150 ypg vs FCS. I will be at WSU's next game which is at ISU (1.5 hr drive).
Anyone else have any thoughts at the midseason? We are still a couple weeks out til most the Sky has played half of its conf schedule.
