I do not think one Wofford fan or player will come away from yesterday's battle with Chuck South thinking that we are a push over any more. I think Coach Mills said it best after the game when he said that " there are no more moral victories for CSU. We came into this game expecting to win. We expect to compete with any other FCS program in the country"
That pretty much says it all. No more back seat to anybody in the FCS.
For me, the loss hurt more than any that I have seen at CSU. These guys in blue are finally of the right mindset to make a serious run at the playoff by taking the Big South title. This team is far better than the 2005 team.
I really like Coach Mills attitude on this loss. No more "we played hard but came up short or we learned some things today to build on. He and the players and the fans expect to win on Saturday and anything less is unacceptable.
To Wofford, great game guys. You have a hell of a good running game but your passing game is what won it for you.
