Quinton Teal, who played the past three years with the Carolina Panthers, was signed by the San Diego Chargers. Also, Maurice Simpkins, who played for the Green Bay Blizzard Indoor football team, signed his first NFL contract, joining the Green Bay Packers.

I know this situation in detail and it is all politics that got him released from Seattle. So glad to see him in San Diego. Tolbert, Teal, and Thigpen are three players I really liked from CCU. Was not so high on Simpson. I think he will be out of the NFL in a year or two. Teal is a heck of a player. Very good on special teams. Thigpen needs to get more reps. I think he can be a very good second stringer. Tolbert is one of the best fullbacks in the NFL. I pushed him to a bowl game when he was coming out and I was helping with one and they would not take him. I told them it would be a mistake so no shock there. Really happy for Teal!! He is one of the best human beings you will meet. Great guy. Funny. Smart guy. Works hard. Really deserves the opportunity!

I think the Chiefs f*cked up when they traded Thigpen. Though the wins didn't come (defense sucked), look how much better the offense got when Thig was starting QB. From the point Thigpen became starter through week 17 he threw the most touchdowns of any QB in the league 2nd to Peyton Manning.
