Any idea where this fella is from? I went to school with a Doug Person in Florence for a while (as well as Lee, John, etc)...SouthDakotaGrizzly wrote:1 - Mike Person, Sr., Montana State

The Griz always have good O-Lineman and that's the key to their success
UNC is getting a bit better in the trenches, but until we get better we will always get 3 wins or less.

Unless they moved from Florence to Glendive. But, for the life of me, I can't fathom why anyone in their right mind would do such a thing.AZGrizFan wrote:Hmmm....doubtful, then.SouthDakotaGrizzly wrote:

Re: Ranking the Big Sky offensive linemen
This will be an interesting year for the Griz O-line. They lost a lot to graduation and it seems like Pflugrad did a lot of shuffling around of personnel during spring ball to try and find the right combination and has expressed some concern about the line. Talk is they might still bring in a transfer before fall camp starts.BigSkyBears wrote:The Griz always have good O-Lineman and that's the key to their success![]()

Re: Ranking the Big Sky offensive linemen
Last season the Bears lost 3 starting offensive linemen in the first 2 games for the rest of the season and it really hurt us.
I think Downing is doing a good job of recruiting them, we just get hammered with injuries and we don't have the depth.

Re: Ranking the Big Sky offensive linemen
I would have went with John Taylor (6'-3", 300 lbs) for Sac State. It's not a knock on Harrell but Taylor is going into his JR season and has started every game at center of his collegiate career. Word is Taylor is being moved to guard and Harrell will take over at center so maybe that had something to do with it.
