Nice good to hear Kdniva, wondering will you be on hand to get a first look at the new offense that VMI is planning on running? I have to be honest i still think they are making a huge mistake moving away from the triple option

Actually, I believe when Sparky was hired (1/26/08), Coach Jim Reid's staff had already finished recruiting for the spread/triple, and went ahead and kept all of the offensive assistants (and a couple on defense), and stayed with the triple for a couple of years, while he recruited for the "future". Which is, from what I have heard 2nd hand, his new offense will be similar to what Indianapolis runs. One TE & 3 wides, shotgun with 3 or 4 wides, occasionally a traditional Pro-I, or 3 wides w/2 set backs. He has been on a few staffs the past 15 or so years, and has accumulated enough knowledge that we're confident he'll put players in position to be successful.
