Kinda bored, and just read through BF's pissing match with the App guys over the video boards between ASU and WCU. And since I get some entertainment from BF's insanity, I decided to see what the other schools vid boards look like. And the fact that this is the only thing our stadium has to throw into the discussion for best stadium things helps too
Here is SDSU's which I would definatly should be in the mix for the best vid board out there.

Damn thats a pretty big one you guys got. I guess part of this is what you include in the video board too. I think of the scoreboard as a part of it as well.

That's ALL we'd need...have ANOTHER thread degenerate into a pissing match about buying out some lame ass game 30 years ago and then kicking their asses in December...

You know for the record I have NEVER bitched about that. Not a fan of it but its not worth my effort to get worked up about it. Cuz then I'd have to hate all the Montana fans for it, and on this board that would be like being a KKK member in Atlanta. Hating most of the people you see would just get tiring.
That would be funny to have that pic of the scoreboard after the last game we had with you guys to show off.

When it was installed for the 2002 season it was the fifth largest one in the nation and is still the largest in FCS at 26 x 36 feet.
Youtube video of it in action before the App State game - from my brothers seats.

...and actual video played on board.

TXST is from Daktronics. It was installed before the 2007 season. I imagine they will put a new one up when the renovations are completed...some year. (and likely in the S endzone, this one is in the N EZ) But it was like going from a big wheels to a mercedes when it happened.
NDSU's videoboards are smaller, but we have FOUR of them. One in each corner of the Fargodome. I don't know of many stadiums that have four videoboards, except Jerryworld.

Well, UCA put one up in 2007. The board features a 30-by-17-foot video screen that shows instant replays, close-ups and other live and prepared content. The board is also used for commercials. Not a good picture of it here, but for those who have seen it, it's HUGE!

What you failed to mention is that during Bison football games, old episodes of Bonanza are shown on three of the four screens.

Nevermind the fact that they aren't much bigger than a bigscreen.
