I like the fact we get Brevard first so we can get the new QB, whoever it may be, a start under his belt. Opening with WCU instead would have been brutal.

A bit early to start talking smack don't you think Cats? I mean after last year's WCU performance and loss against the Runnin Bulldogs in Cullowee I would think that a bit of Meow Mix humble pie would be in order. Just thinking but I dunno!

Spring practice starts next week in Boiling Springs. Does anyone have an idea about the schedule? It will be interesting to see which Runnin' Bulldogs are ready to step up and get this team going past the 6 win mark. Look forward to seeing my Bulldog brothers for a sneak peek.

Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

Cats - I see your point, I reckon the Catamounts "could" wear some purple panties under their uniforms but then again that "could" be just an attempt to hide the purple bruising the Runnin Dawgs "could" put on those Catamount asses. Is the word "could" smack talk? Naw, yaw!

I'm looking forward to your visit to ODU on October 2nd as we attempt to upgrade our schedule. This is in preparation for our first year in the CAA in 2011.

Monarch History - I am looking forward to the trip too. ODU has really done a lot of the right stuff in restarting their football program and all football fans know that the the Tidewater area of Virginia is a hot bed for high school football talent. I lived in Newport News from 1981 thru 1985 and am looking forward to a visit back to the area after my old Apprentice School days at Newport News Shipbuilding. I expect the game will be very competitive and the Runnin Bulldogs will have to play well to earn a "W". The Monarchs new football stadium looks awesome and I understand that your fan attendance and support is top notch for FCS Football.

I like ODU's virtual seating chart on their stadium too.....neat stuff.

Let those poor Cattermounts run their mouths.....not much else to do in the Whee of Cullo.
