They're working on a new Fieldhouse, to be completed by this December. Its going to be located by the North Endzone. (On the other side of the scoreboard for those of you who have been to Rhodes Stadium) There are links to pictures and a live video for construction on the site above.

I can't wait to see and use the new weight room. The current one is alright, but it needs a lot of improvement, and its really small, especially when the football team is in there working out.

i did like elons football field... is the field house going to be opposite of the baseball field or on the side of the baseball field? id imagine it would be on the opposite side but thats what asking for

When are you guys going to upgrade your basketball venue, which is IMO the worst in the conference?

Its going to be one the opposite side of the baseball field. The entrance to the field is right next to the baseball field, and the fieldhouse will be on the far side, I think right behind where the scoreboard is.

I hope soon. I know that there are plans for a new convocation center or something in the next few years. They currently use Alumni Gym for any event that they need to get a great amount of people in one place at one time. We can't even fill that up for basketball though Its pathetic to think that we can't get 2400 people to a basketball game. The only times we're close is when App and Davidson and they travel with a great number of fans. I'm hoping they'll renovate the arena at some point in the next few years.
