Re: 2010 Northwestern St schedule
How about coming out to SLO for the return game with Cal Poly? I know that everyone needs money and it was better to take a big check from Houston that flying to California last year, but when things turn around it would be nice to see Northwestern State playing in SLO.

I 2nd that, come on out to SLO.. it's good people.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
Re: 2010 Northwestern St schedule
With the budget crunch Louisiana schools are facing, I doubt that will be happening anytime soon. Looks like Air Force and North Dakota will be our longest trips. Hopefully, we'll get some wins this year.

Been to San Marcos twice to see Cal Poly play Texas State and had a blast both times. I would love to see them to sign another home and home contract with Texas State. You know something the rest of us don't???CatMom wrote:Wouldn't you rather play TXST?SloStang wrote:How about coming out to SLO for the return game with Cal Poly? Re: 2010 Northwestern St schedule
As a Tarleton alum, I would feel better about our chances if we had some key pieces-
1. A Head Coach. Coach Mac (40-15 in 5 years) just accepted a Asst job at Texas Tech
2. A QB. The 3 year starter (with 1year left) decided that he was done after a recording breaking year
3. A Kicker. Lindholm made ESPN's top 10 for crushing a 64 yarder at the end of regulation in the playoffs.
Either way, I hope the Texans bring the pain. We beat Sam Houston in 2003, Lost by 4 on a late TD at Texas State in 2006, and beat SFA in 2008.
