I didnt know the PL had rowing as a varsity sport.

We added it about 5-6 years ago.
While this does not immediately impact football, what it says is that Associate Members are again welcome in the conference. Clearly, then, a new football member need not be an all-sports participant.

I think women's rowing is intercollegiate. Not sure if Men's , yet, though it might. Break out the Tiddlywinks!

Actually, MIT was responsible for some great pranks at Harvard football games over the years, like the balloon that grew out of the 50-yard-line at the '82 (?) Yale game.
