Auburn to Play Jax St, Samford, McNeese

Post by TexasTerror »

The Decatur Daily is reporting Auburn will play Jacksonville State, Samford and McNeese State over the next few years...
Auburn University released all finalized non-conference game contracts through 2014 as requested by The Anniston Star through the Freedom of Information Act. A contract for an expected contest between Jacksonville State and Auburn has not been finalized. With Auburn already having Football Championship Subdivision opponents in the next three years, the JSU game will almost certainly not take place until at least 2013.

The school also will pay $2.325 million for three non-conference games in 2011 — $950,000 to Utah State, $975,000 to Florida Atlantic and $400,000 to Samford. Auburn will pay $400,000 for a 2012 game against McNeese State.

Man, those Sun Belt and WAC teams are getting paid big bucks...minus Boise.

Samford and Jax St fans will be pumped up for that game.

It's about damn time they play us. Bammer is too chicken to play us or ANY other in-state school because they are too afraid we will actually get some publicity. Good for you Auburn.
