Two assistants for the staff at Nicholls...Anderson comes from BYU with April having been at Portland State most recently, after some time at Tulane...

Schools that run the Triple O look for/recruit certain players don't they. I assume on O anyway. It only took a week of practice to get our D ready to defend against it and we did ok the past 2 years (course we had a D coordinator that knew how to do this)
With 3 classes of recruits "found" for this option and new coaches coming in, will it take long to transition those kids to a spread or whatever the new coaches are going to run? I imagine spring drills and August practices will do the job. In other words, are those players really into a mindset or is it something easily trasitioned?

The transition away from the option will be interesting.
Nicholls has surprisingly had success with recruiting linemen despite having a run oriented game - remember, they did have one drafted by the NY Jets on the first day a few years ago.
The question will be the skill positions. Of course, they may have far greater problems that supersede that of their football program, pending on how things in the state of Louisiana fall...
